Roulements à rouleaux coniques : composition, avantages et applications
Un roulement à rouleaux coniques se compose d'une bague intérieure (appelée ensemble cône ou cuvette) et d'une bague extérieure (appelée cuvette). Ces composants sont séparables. Ils sont appelés roulements à rouleaux coniques car l'ensemble conique est plus étroit à une extrémité et les bagues intérieure et extérieure du roulement sont conçues avec un côté plus étroit pour correspondre aux rouleaux. Grâce à cette disposition, ils sont parfaitement adaptés au transport de charges axiales et radiales. Plus l’angle de la coupelle est raide, plus la capacité du roulement à résister aux charges de poussée (axiales) est grande. Ces roulements fonctionnent avec un contact linéaire (correction : généralement un contact linéaire et non un contact ponctuel). Ils sont bien adaptés aux environnements à grande vitesse et à charges lourdes qui nécessitent un faible frottement.

Capacité de charge élevée : grâce à leur structure unique et à leur méthode de contact, les roulements à rouleaux coniques possèdent une capacité de charge très élevée, ce qui les rend idéaux pour manipuler des charges lourdes et des charges de choc.
· Longue durée de vie : Une faible contrainte de contact, un fonctionnement fiable et une usure réduite contribuent à prolonger la durée de vie des roulements, offrant des performances fiables même dans des conditions de fonctionnement difficiles.
· Séparable et facile à installer : Les bagues intérieure et extérieure des roulements à rouleaux coniques sont séparables, ce qui facilite l'installation, le démontage et la maintenance sans avoir à démonter l'ensemble du système d'entraînement. Pour les roulements à une rangée, le jeu peut être ajusté par l'utilisateur selon ses besoins.
· Bonne compensation d'alignement : Les roulements à rouleaux coniques possèdent un certain degré de capacité d'auto-alignement, leur permettant de s'ajuster automatiquement aux désalignements de l'arbre, ce qui garantit une répartition plus uniforme de la charge, contribue à réduire l'usure et prolonge la durée de vie.
·Haute rigidité et précision : Les roulements à rouleaux coniques garantissent une rigidité et une précision élevées pour les systèmes de guidage d'arbre, en particulier dans les applications où précision et rigidité sont requises.
